Care Quality Commission (CQC)
The CQC are the independent health and social care regulator.
Their job is to make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage improvement.
They do this by monitoring, inspecting and regulating services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety then publish what they find, including performance ratings to help people choose care.
We pride ourselves on offering excellent patient care and innovative ways of working.

Your Health in Safe Hands
Every patient has a named GP who is responsible for patients’ overall care at the practice. If you would like to know who your named GP is you can contact the surgery and ask a member of the reception team. If you have a preference as to which GP that is, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
We are a training practice and have rotations of foundation doctors (F2s) every 4 months along with GP registrars who are with us for differing time periods.
The team are here to provide all patients with a professional and caring healthcare experience in friendly and personal surroundings. With discretion and confidentiality guaranteed your welfare is safe, secure and in good hands.
We want to get better at communicating with our patients. We want to make sure you can read and understand the information we send you. If you find it hard to read our letters or if you need someone to support you at appointments, please let us know.
We want to know if you need information in braille, large print or easy read.
We want to know if you need a British Sign Language interpreter or advocate
We want to know if we can support you to lipread or use a hearing aid or communication tool.
Please tell the receptionist when you arrive for your next appointment or contact your surgery on the usual number
