Out of Hours Service
If you need to see a doctor urgently outside of surgery hours, when you call the surgery number a recorded message informs you of the emergency telephone number to ring. This number is 0844 412 1104

Larwood Urgent Care Service
Larwood Surgery has a new walk in service for its patients with urgent conditions. This is for registered patients who need to be seen that day with urgent problems that cannot wait. It is hoped that this service will reduce the need for patients to attend A&E with conditions that could be dealt with by their local surgery and will provide easier access.
The service will be open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 11.30am and 2.30pm to 5.30pm and patients requiring urgent care will be able to walk in, without ringing the surgery first.
This does not affect our other routine services, where patients can request a telephone consultation or book routine appointments as they do so now. Patients attending at our other sites will access emergency appointments as they do currently, although if they so wish, they can attend the walk-in service.

If you haven’t already got your username and password, just ask one at reception to be registered for a username and password. We will ask for a photographic proof of identity such as driving licence/passport/bus pass.

Repeat Dispensing
If you are on four or less medications the GP may be able to authorise a set number of prescriptions that a patient can collect on a monthly basis direct from a pharmacy of their choice. This will alleviate the need for the patient to order and pick up their prescription from the surgery each month. Full details will be discussed and agreed with the patient prior to their enrolment on the scheme.
